VERB’s Andy MacLellan Named Top 50 CEO

VERB founder Andy MacLellan is one of 2024’s Top 50 CEOs. Atlantic Business Magazine announced the news on May 8, 2024, when it hosted its annual celebration of top talent in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Andy was nominated in the “For-Profit with 250+ Employees” category.

“As we come up on VERB’s 20th anniversary, this honour is especially significant,” said Andy. “From a two-person team in a garage to more than 260 staff and 300 travel and hospitality clients worldwide, we’ve come a long way.”

Andy joins other talented for-profit and non-profit leaders across the region. Established in 1999, Atlantic Business Magazine says the awards honour leaders who “are known for growing their business/organization, advancing their industry and giving back to their community.”

Andy attributes VERB’s success to his commitment to innovation in the industry and relationship-building with clients and partners.

“Being innovative means seeing the trends and patterns that impact not just the tourism and hospitality industry, but the culture at large and then deciphering what that means for a client’s strategic and tactical path.”
